For this new dawn you need an unconventional color, and that is why the Pantone Institute has decreed the color of the year 2023 the Viva Magenta, a shade that is rooted in nature, sprouting from the family of reds, and expressing all the strength, but with an extra note of exuberance and joyful optimism.
A vibrant colour, it invites you to overcome limits and dare boldly, while inspiring you to expand the horizons of authenticity.
It is a hybrid color, a pink-red between crimson and dark raspberry, a mix that is born fluid and for this proves perfect for our times, in which natural and virtual mix, seamlessly.
To inspire further creatives, designers and customers, Pantone inserts Viva Magenta in four palettes: Equilibrium, which brings warm and cold tones but always in hybrid shades; Resonace, a mix of dark colors, in which Viva Magenta stands out for its brilliance; by contrast, Ignite is a series of pale and dusty shades that seem to be the backdrop to the flamboyant protagonist; Family ties, finally, is a ton-sur-ton of pink that represents the different souls of this color, from the most graceful to an intense passing through the exuberant color of the year 2023.
