A custom-made rug for the living area of a master bedroom in neoclassical style

It plays entirely on the light, which floods the space from the large windows overlooking the park, the interior design of the master bedroom, built in neoclassical style to enhance the amplitude of the room and the linear grandeur of the furnishings.

For the residents of a sumptuous private country villa in Russia, the architects have created a setting that well represents the desire for relaxation and hospitality that is based on the beauty to be enjoyed at every glimpse, and a refined and sumptuous elegance.

Made as a unique creation, the rug defines the area of the living room in the room

captures the eye taking it to the back wall, equipped with a console and a boiserie, and gives further splendor to the entire composition.
The choice of our designers fell on a rug in natural silk, the precious yarn par excellence, which is characterized by its great brilliance.
An aesthetic value that is enhanced by the natural light that is rich in this environment.
Made on two levels, the custom-made rug is hand-knotted, using the oriental knot technique, and measures 120×230 cm, the ideal size to accommodate with comfort the two upholstered armchairs and the coffee table.

As per the neoclassical style requested by the clients for the entire villa, it was been selected a design from the the Opera collection of the Platinum Custom Rugs catalog “I Classici“, opting for the “Palladio” design.

The side decorations frame the edges of the rug symmetrically, playing a role as a co-protagonist compared to the central rose window, wider and more elaborate.
The decorations follow the horizontal pattern of the rug, occupying the weaving area.
The entire collection comes from soft color palettes, elegant in ton-sur-ton combinations.
In the variant A of this design, in particular, the gray turns to sage green, while the composition is declined in warm tones thanks to the golden yarn that stands out in the decorations in relief, embellishes the artifact.
